Thank you for dropping by on occasion. Blogging is one of the strangest things I have done, in a career spanning church janitor, stock clerk, pipe fitter, industrial demolitions, paper making, and litigation attorney which just hits a few of the many jobs I've had. Blogging is like standing in front of one's bathroom mirror discussing the issues one finds important, yet people all over the world can listen in. It's the Jetson's come to life! It's fantastic, and deeply unnerving all at once.
When I started less than a year ago, I had zero readers on the first day, now I have thousands all dropping by now and then from all over the world, from Usk-Katav, to London, from Canterbury to Placerville, from San Jose to Lawrenceville, from Seattle to Dordrecht, from Jeddah to Novo Mesto, from Rome to Beijing, and of course Sohag. During any month I will likely have readers in 30-40 countries drop by for a visit. Again, thanks for your interest, and your time. We in the USA just had our Thanksgiving holiday, a quintessentially American holiday. I realized I hadn't actually told all of you I am thankful for your participation in this blog. Comments are open, as always, let me know what you think, correct me when I am wrong. advise me when needed. After decades as a litigation attorney, I am nothing if not thick skinned, but I am, and always will remain open and willing to consider change of course. If you do not have a specific holiday for Thanksgiving, for thinking about the myriad reasons we all have for giving thanks every year, late November is as good a time as any. I would recommend you try it even if it is only a family dinner on a day you can get together with as many extended family, and friends as possible. It is cathartic to think about your blessings, and to think about how you can move forward, and make the lives of others better in the coming year. Best wishes Mark "Maddog" Sherman
