Allowing these groups to remain unproductive but with a much higher standard of living while removing money for the highly productive erodes the economy means we will be less economically well off in the future. The better outcome is to demand these unproductive groups become more productive. This shift to productivity can only be accomplished through a policy of individual liberty based in personal responsibility. The unproductive must be held to account for their unwillingness to work productively. The welfare state must be reformed so that any receiving benefits give back to the community for the largesse they receive so freely. They must be productive to the extent they can. To the extent any are unwilling, private charity should assist them. It is only through this harsh lesson that the unproductive will look within themselves and realize there is more to them than the raging desire for graft and corruption.
