Amazon is crushing Macy's, Nordstrom, and Kohl's
Seems real women don't gather either. Why would anyone drive to a store, only to find that what they want is not available, but they can drive an additional 15 miles and pick it up at another store, or come back another day, after the item is transferred to this store (another 15 mile round trip)?
The bulk of our purchases are items we know our desired brand, size, and color, for example, underwear, socks, hose, t-shirts, and many other pieces of apparel.
If all Amazon does is pick off these staple items it will be the primary player in the field. Anything else is gravy.
