Russian fury at Swedes over occupation series
. . . as it marshals tanks along the Swedish border. Ok, I made that part up, but it is well within character.
Because what? Russia never invaded or took over another country during the 20th and 21st centuries? How ignorant of history do they think we are? Do they think we forgot the von Ribbentrop Pact; the invasions of Poland, Bessarabia, and Bukovina, Finland, Iran, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Norway, Germany, Manchuria, Korea, the Kuril Islands north of Japan; the Soviet partition of Europe; the partition of Germany; the taking of the Baltic countries; or the invasion of Afghanistan? How about the attempted reconquests of Georgia, and Ukraine, and the recents threats to the Baltic nations, and a number of former Eastern Bloc countries, and former Soviet "-stans?"
President Feckless ODither dim is my guess.
Actually I like this TV show quite well. It is a bit over the top, but it understands that progressivism/democrat socialism is nothing but the attempt to exercise unrestrained power. It paints the EU as a rogue government, and Russia as a thug for hire, so, it portrays both accurately!
It accurately paints the Norwegians as wacky about climate alarmism, and the EU as more reasonable, but still a rogue government willing to do as it will. The climate alarmism is an inane McGuffin but necessary to carry the script. Good acting, filming, camera work, sound, etc.
The rest is mostly Euro drama, but well done, and from a non-American perspective.
You might want to give it a watch. Remember there it is drama, here it is dramady!
