Er, no, the Donald! Someone is going to win!
Maddog has been busy pumping this dreck out of the bilge of the USS Maddog since Trump sewed up the Republican nomination. There is no evidence that Hillary can win the Democrat nomination for President let alone the Presidency. This is a woman who was bupthwacked by an antiquated Socialist who still adheres to every bad idea in the old Soviet playbook. Until Hillary defeats Sanders, I have no basis to believe she can win. Sanders campaign shows how little even Democrats want Hillary. On the other hand, Trump was seen as nothing more than a light comedy repast during the early, "silly season" of the campaign. But the Donald did not get the memo, and ran like an ex-lax s'more through the competition during the Republican primaries. Putting everything in perspective, Trump sewed up the Republican nomination before Hillary could shake off the Bern. Maddog has no idea where this campaign season will lead, but it will be interesting, and anyone who thinks Hillary will take this in a cake walk might need a bracing, stiff drink by the end. The best elixir for this is: University Punch 2 oz. fruit juice (or any fruity drink from the back of the fridge, without a mold skin on it) 6 oz. Everclear Ice Shake till cold, strain ice, drink in one gulp, or if adventurous do as an enema shot! What we should expect over the next few weeks from the Democrat side is Hillary walking back all of her policy pronouncements designed to out-maneuver Sanders. From the Republican side we should expect an attempt by the party to corral the Donald, and move him towards some reasonable policy positions which somehow align his statements to Republican policy planks. This may well be the Triple Lindy of political alignments but with the all of greasy double talk, and lawyers available, they should be able to make something out of this sows ear. For Hillary to win, she has to kill the old Hillary, and channel the old Bill. Neither she nor the new Bill can win this thing. For Trump to win, he has to find a way to align his policy pronouncements to bring both the mainstream Republicans and working class America into the same tent. Brining some significant number of the black, hispanic, and other colored working class would go far and likely win him the election. This is gonna be fun!
