Binge-watchers are responsible for one-third of all TV electricity usage
I only watch late in the evening, when I am too tired to be productive.
However, after my mother-in-law had her stroke (followed by many more) she at times lived with us during the last decade of her life. Since we do not have cable, or satellite television programing, she spent a lot of time watching Leave it to Beaver, The Andy Griffith show, and a few others. In the end, I suspect we saw each of these programs in their entirety at least 5 or 6 times.
As the article infers, this was mostly for noise and action to "entertain" MiL in her infirmity.
