Asymmetrical Warfare: ISIS was foolish taking territory playing at being a state . . .

CIA Director Brennan Says Istanbul Bombings Should Serve as Warning to U.S.

. . . the whole point is to be a fish in the sea, not in a small pond, the pond is easy to eradicate.

More after the break.
It is likely ISIS won't make that mistake again. While we might eradicate the pond, they will simply swim in the sea around us, making discovery that much more difficult.

Add to the problem the fact that the FBI is not prepared to actually investigate the potential terrorists in a way which is productive, we should understand that we are far less secure that we need be. We don't need more security theater, or any for that matter, the TSA, and Homeland Security should be disbanded. They have done nothing to secure the US, and much to ride roughshod over human, and civil rights. We do not need that.

'Defies reality': Kerry takes heat for claiming airport attack a sign of ISIS desperation | Fox News

Lurch will lurch! It's almost like he does not understand the definition of Asymmetrical Warfare, or why parties engage in it. They are weak, if they were not, they would attack head on with armored columns. Of course they are desperate: Asymmetrical Warfare! Dude!

Blind pig, no truffle.

The US/allied/Russian air strikes in Syria, or those in Iraq, or the drone strikes elsewhere will not effect ISIS sympathizers in the US, or Europe. These people do not need guns, bombs, chemical, or nuclear weapons. What happened on 9/11 should have been enough to establish that all they need is something capable of killing a significant number of people at a time.

The Democrats have taken the Orlando shooting and made it into a gun violence issue, it is not. It is a mass movement/death cult seeking to kill people in any possible manner. Guns, or autos, or planes, or bombs, or . . .  The possibilities are endless.

Here are two possibilities every city with a large population should be concerned about:

Gas Delivery Startups Want to Fill Up Your Car Anywhere. Is That Allowed?

Buy a gasoline truck, buy a water spraying truck like the one in the video below. How much damage could this cause motoring around a central city area, spraying the buildings, cars, and pedestrians? Once sprayed, turn the spray off, and a flare gun would create a massive incendiary. Lather, rinse, repeat until the fuel emptied.
Gruesome, but it points out the simplicity of mass killing. By mistaking the actual problem, as the Democrats do by ignoring the real problem, while finding an easy to fight strawman, we are left much more vulnerable.

The enemy is among us today, strawman arguments, TSA security theater, and other nonsense will not make us safer, or create the security so many crave.

The outcome of the ISIS fight in Syria will have little affect on our security. That will have to come from muslims themselves, it is only through an Arab muslim "protestant" reformation that we will see the diminution of this threat.

Here at the End of History there is but a single path to trod . . .

Boy, I feel safer already
