The End of Multiculturalism in Scandinavia?
The choice is clear. Either the Scandinavians choose liberty and throw off the yoke of multiculturalism or they choose multiculturalism and suicide. One of these cultures is empirically better than the other, denying that and allowing this evil to grow unchecked will kill the host to which the parasite culture is attached. Time for Europe to grow up. The problem is existential, it is now, and the US is not about to show up and save you again from Nemesis allowed in due to your hubris. The time for choosing is nigh. Choose wisely.

Nothing but hearsay and assumptions lacking in anything remotely smacking of facts or evidence all reported nightly as Bombshells, IEDs, and Blowtorch Testimony. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! The Dems and their sycophant media BFFs have swan dived off the Burj Khalifa; this should end well. Airlines tell parents to pay up or risk sitting rows away from their kids. That's wrong.
I suspect the airlines could charge extra for this service and make a nice bundle. This blast from the past story is from 21 years ago: Traveling with children is always a blast When my Grandmother died, and I decided to travel back to Michigan to attend her funeral, and I took Maddogsson, age 3. The planning was simple; we had to fly the next day and would stay a few days after to visit relatives before flying back to Portlandia. Maddogsson was an accomplished traveler at three and enjoyed flying. We traveled on RenoAir, I had never heard of them, and have not since, but the flight from Portlandia to Reno was uneventful. Once in Reno, we had a wait, but not a plane change; we were told we could debark to allow Maddogsson to "stretch his legs," so we did. The uneventful became eventful when we reboarded. The airline had given our seats away even after directing us to debark! So, I went out to speak with an attendant. She was a very nice woman who took my information and assured me she would work the problem out. Ten minutes later, they were calling "all aboard who's going, aboard," so I approached her again. She seemed flustered. She shooed me away. About 5 minutes later, she had a solution; she had two-seat, one, was 5A, the other 25C, or something, I don't remember the numbers just that they were far distant. I gave her a deadpan look for a minute, but she was not kidding, so I said, sure. I'll take 5A, put Maddogsson in 25C. Then I handed her his small carry-on bag with food, toys, games, etc. She looked nonplused. Then she asked about the bag. I told her that he might only be 3, but he was an excellent traveler, and he would likely not require much attention from seatmates other than to occasionally help him get another game, or perhaps discuss some subject he was thinking about at the time, and of course with the meal, he would need help with that. I told her I doubted he would be a problem. Now she looked nonplussed. A few minutes later, she called me back up to the counter and let me know we had been rebooked, first class. A little deadpan, sans emotion always works like a charm. On the flight home from Michigan, we ended in a seat next to a middle-aged "businessman" wearing a suit. Once he spied Maddogsson, he began to kvetch, bellyache, and whinge, about children, and always sitting next to children on flights, and how if there were not bad luck, he would have none at all. About 10 minutes later, we taxied onto the runway, ran the engines up and dropped the brakes, as we roared down the runway, I leaned over, and said to Maddogsson, "Don't you just hate those big babies in suits, every time we fly we get a seat next to one of them, they whinge, cry, wheedle, mope, and bellyache about workers, the people they sit next to, their wives, work, and everything else." Maddogsson just nodded, and continued with his monologue about what every sound meant, "That's the wheels coming up, and locking down, and that's the flaps retracting . . . " Our seatmate was quiet the entire flight; he never spoke another word. After we landed, and as we stood to debark, I tousled our seat mate's hair and said, "Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" Too bad, but I doubt there is any chance we could ever be friends! Being big, deadpan, and delivering the "I'd rather eat your soul than be nice to you" stare with added hair tousel always works like a charm. US Relations With China Were Just Destroyed, And Nothing Will Ever Be The Same Again
"Our relationship with China just went from bad to worse, and most Americans don’t even realize that we just witnessed one of the most critical foreign policy decisions of this century. The U.S. Senate just unanimously passed the “Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019”, and the Chinese are absolutely seething with anger. Violent protests have been rocking Hong Kong for months, and the Chinese have repeatedly accused the United States of being behind the protests. Whether that is true or not, the U.S. Senate has openly sided with the protesters by passing this bill, and there is no turning back now." Ok, so what? Why am I supposed to be worried about the CCP getting butt hurt about the fact that they are acting tyrannically in Hong Kong, and we don't like it? "And you can forget about a comprehensive trade agreement ever happening. Even if a Democrat is elected in 2020, that Democrat is going to back what the Senate just did. That is why it was such a major deal that this bill passed by unanimous consent. It sent a message to the Chinese that Republicans and Democrats are united on this issue and that the next election is not going to change anything." Ok, I got it, but, again, why should I worry? "I am finding it difficult to find the words to describe what this means to the Chinese. We have deeply insulted their national honor, and our relationship with them will never be the same again." Dude? Yeah, I got that, but why is this bad? Time to shite or get off the pot, tell me in plain English why this is bad for me, the US, and the world. "Many will debate whether standing up to China on this issue was the right thing to do, but in this article I am trying to get you to understand that there will be severe consequences for what the U.S. Senate just did. There isn’t going to be a comprehensive trade deal, the global economy is going to suffer greatly, and the Chinese now consider us to be their primary global adversary." Wait a minute; I get it; you have no answer to the question. You believe this will be bad, but you have no analysis as to why, or even how it will be bad, this is just a belief. He ends with: "For a long time I have been warning that U.S. relations with China would greatly deteriorate, and this is the biggest blow that we have seen yet. The U.S. and China are now enemies, and ultimately that is going to result in a tremendous amount of pain for the entire planet." All those words wasted saying the same thing over and over and over without ever even hinting at why you should accept this author's beliefs as true. The reason is that he has no analysis or reasoning as to why. He probably long ago accepted that a breakdown of US/China trade would be catastrophic to China, the US, and the world. I do not doubt that if US/China trade broke down immediately, it would be damaging to the US economy with the poorest in the US hit the hardest. But I also do not doubt that many other nations would quickly step forward to begin manufacturing the products the US needed. Perhaps these shortages would last for a few years for the simple things like clothing, and plastic widgets and likely longer for the more elaborate devices. Even so, we are at the cusp of large scale automation of ever more complex items; for example, Apple has brought some manufacturing back to the US. For the US, this would all mean low-level pain and some rough economic roads ahead, but for China, this would be a serious and permanent economic blow. It is unlikely China would ever recover from the loss of the US as a primary trade partner. Being cut off from the US markets is a death blow for China, not a minor problem to be resolved in a few years. China exports "It's Kind Of Despicable": Chicago Is Rigging Red Light Cameras To Rack Up Millions In Fines
The idea is to pump money out of the middle class into the government's coffers, not reduce accidents, injuries, or deaths. On the contrary, in a large number of cases, accidents, injuries, and even deaths increase due to the installation and use of these cameras. The contractors and governments which use these cameras have found several ways to make the money pump work. The most common is to reduce the time the traffic lights stay yellow. This shortens the period in which one can decide to stop or proceed through the intersection. The short time leads too far more sudden stops, accidents, injuries, and even deaths. There are many ways for the governments' to skin this cat, all of them are despicable since they are all about making money, not protecting the motoring public. How cool is it that your government is trying to profit off your injuries and even deaths? The solution is less government involvement in our daily lives. When things like roadways need regulations, construction, maintenance, or repair, these should be accomplished by engineers who are dedicated to making traffic flow more safely, faster, and with fewer delays, not politicians attempting to extract revenue from the motoring public. Wealthy Hong Kongers Are "Activating Contingency Plans" As Violence Spirals Out Of Control
China/CCP has decided to kill the goose, which lays the golden eggs. Without Hong Kong in its current form, China will have great difficulty obtaining the dollars it so desperately needs. Add the dollar diminishing US tariffs to the mix and the eminent recessions in Europe, Latin America, and Russia, and China is looking at a long term recession/depression. Cue the dirge, China needs to be on a death watch. The Minimum Wage Is The Enemy Of The Poor
It isn't it is destructive, and it keeps the people most of us want to help the most mired in poverty and despair. The progressives want to keep us all slaves, they do not want to give up the imposed slavery they have already created by giving up the minimum wage, occupational licensing, or workplace regulations. Buttigieg Blows Biden Away, Pulls Ahead On PredictIt Behind Warren
Biden has a long history of losing via gaffs, why would anyone expect less of him this time around? I used to think Biden's brain spent a lot of time in neutral while his mouth spent its time in high gear. Now I realize Biden has no brain. Greener, longer life: More trees reduce premature deaths in cities The city was a mistake, but thankfully the suburbs, the exurbs, and the rural options are all filled with natural greenery allowing us to live longer, healthier, and fuller lives. The big plus is that buring fossil fuels are causing an explosion of planet greening, which means an explosion in plant life, which means an explosion in animal life. Carbon is a massive life bringer, not the life extinguisher forecast by the idiots in the environmental and climate frauds. Goodwin: Why Dems are so worried after latest round of impeachment hearings "Alas, Tuesday wasn’t much help. As they did in the first hearings last week, Dems again failed to make the Ukraine issue the crime of the century or even of the Trump presidency. Their hyperbolic descriptions are not even close to the pedestrian evidence they’re producing. Their problem last week largely centered on the fact that none of the witnesses were actual witnesses to any relevant events, including the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky." Dude, talk about losing the plot. This has already devolved into the Monte Python Upper-Class Twit of the Year skit with Schiff well in the lead. |
