Dr. Vladimir Zelenko has now treated 699 coronavirus patients with 100% success using Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate, Zinc and Z-Pak [UPDATES] | Tech News | Startups News
I am sure Rachel Maddow has the vapors over the good news. Also, remember that there are two states where the Democratic Govenors have made this cure verboten. Nice, no? "Last Wednesday, we published the success story from Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, a board-certified family practitioner in New York, after he successfully treated 350 coronavirus patients with 100 percent success using a cocktail of drugs: hydroxychloroquine, in combination with azithromycin (Z-Pak), an antibiotic to treat secondary infections, and zinc sulfate. Dr. Zelenko said he saw the symptom of shortness of breath resolved within four to six hours after treatment. Now, Dr. Zelenko provides updates on the treatment after he successfully treated 699 COVID-19 patients in New York. In an exclusive interview with former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, Dr. Vladmir Zelenko shares the results of his latest study, which showed that out of his 699 patients treated, zero patients died, zero patients intubated, and four hospitalizations. Dr. Zelenko said the whole treatment costs only $20 over a period of 5 days with 100% success. He defines success as “Not to die.” Dr. Zelenko first posted his Facebook video message last week calling on President Trump to “advise the country that they should be taking this medication.” There are many other success stories about hydroxychloroquine across the country. Last week, Dr. William Grace, an oncologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, said they’ve not had a single death in their hospital because of hydroxychloroquine. “Thanks to hydroxychloroquine, we have not had a death in our hospital,’ Dr. Grace said. Also, in a study conducted by the National Institute of Health (NIH) also confirmed some of Dr. Dr. Zelenko’s findings. The study by NIH showed that Zinc supplementation decreases the morbidity of lower respiratory tract infection in pediatric patients in the developing world. A second study also conducted by NIH titled: “In Vitro Antiviral Activity and Projection of Optimized Dosing Design of Hydroxychloroquine for the Treatment of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2),” also showed hydroxychloroquine to be more potent in killing the virus off in vitro (in the test tube and not in the body)." Human ingenuity is powerful. It is also something progressives regularly discount. This is a crucial reason they are always wrong. Let's hope this story is accurate. Trump's Strategic Foresight Is Being Put to the Test
We will see. But so far, Trump has done admirably, charting a course through dire straits while continually injecting hope and aspirations into the body politic. Sadly, the Democrats and the media have done the opposite. Once the pandemic breaks, there will be an assessment and a reckoning. "The ancient Greeks believed that true leadership in crisis came down to what they called pronoia -- the Greek word for "strategic foresight." Some statesmen, such as Pericles and Themistocles, had it. Most others, such as the often brilliant and charismatic but impulsive Alcibiades, usually did not. "Foresight" in crisis means sizing up a nation's assets and debits, then maximizing advantages and minimizing liabilities. The leader with foresight, especially in times of irrational despair, then charts a rational pathway victory. Such crisis leaders do not fall into panic and depression when the media shouts "Catastrophe!" Nor do they preen when the same chorus screams "Genius!" in times of success. The English poet Rudyard Kipling would have defined such a gift as, "If you can keep your head when all about you/Are losing theirs and blaming it on you," or, "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster/And treat those two impostors just the same." Some American military leaders -- such as Gens. George Patton, William Tecumseh Sherman, and Curtis LeMay -- sounded as scary in times of peace as they did in times of war. The traits ensuring that peacetime life stays predictable are not always the same as those required to return it to predictability when times turn utterly terrifying. During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln knew the overwhelming advantages of the Union could eventually defeat the South, but only if he could hold the nation together through disasters such as the battles of Bull Run and Chancellorsville, and only once he found brilliant generals such as Sherman and Ulysses S. Grant. In World War II, Winston Churchill proved perhaps the most impressive wartime leader in history. During Britain's darkest hours of the nonstop German bombing of London, he knew that declining British assets were still greater than an ascendant Germany's advantages. Eventually, despite razor-thin margins of error, these assets would ensure victory. Churchill was assured that Britain had a great navy and Germany did not. Britain would soon have as allies America and Russia, both far stronger than German partners Italy and Japan. Churchill foresaw that the economies of those future allies would be far superior to those of the Axis. And Churchill grasped all this even as defeat loomed and some in his own party were calling for him to negotiate with Adolf Hitler. Franklin D. Roosevelt likewise had foresight. In the nightmarish days after Pearl Harbor, FDR calmly unleashed private enterprise to rearm America at what he knew would be an astonishing rate. Roosevelt promised victory not because he knew it would be quick, but because he calculated that if he just made the right choices, the ensuing advantages of the U.S. world surely ensure victory. Even in the first bleak days of the war, FDR kept reminding the nation why and how America would win. That confidence was not based on fantasies but on rational calculation and justified optimism. In the present crisis of the coronavirus, what will determine the effectiveness of President Trump's leadership is not what the media screams today or the polls say tomorrow. The praise of his supporters or the predictable damnation of his enemies won't matter. Rather, Trump will win or lose on whether he has strategic foresight. If he panics and keeps the country locked down for too long, we will go into a depression that will cost more lives than the virus. But if Trump prematurely declares victory and urges Americans to rush back to normal life, he may reboot the virus and reignite another cycle of panic. Instead, Trump will have to possess the confidence to see how the world's greatest economy, greatest medical talent, greatest military, and greatest energy and food production can all be marshaled in a symphonic fashion. That correct formula could fend off a potentially biblical plague without destroying the largest economy in history. If Trump exhibits such cunning and wisdom, then he can balance the consensus of his medical experts that the virus is existentially dangerous with the warnings of his economic advisers that shutting down a multitrillion-dollar economy can become even more ruinous -- and lethal -- for Americans. Like Churchill, Trump must have the right information but also the instincts to determine which expert advice is suspect and which is inspired, and which orthodox recommendation is wrong and which unorthodox alternative is right. Do that, and Trump can defeat the virus, save the economy, and turn a disaster into a collective American victory over both infection and depression. Such foresight can also remind the nation never again to outsource key industries to China, and not to listen to those who always predict catastrophe in bleak times, only to later take credit for others' victories." No one with any common sense trusts anything the CCP says. For the CCP, as for the American progressive left and the Democratic Party, the narrative is king in the post-truth world they have created. This may work when everything is coming up roses, but once things become serious, no one trusts the narrative liars. "China is a country that cares more than any other what outsiders think of it. And then in November there comes along this whole Wuhan coronavirus thing. How humiliating. At first they tried to pretend that it did not exist. By December that wasn’t working any more; the word of a new disease was out. The next move was reporting to the WHO that the virus was a local phenomenon related to the Wuhan seafood market, but would not spread from person to person. Here is a WHO report from January 12. Key quote: The government [of China] reports that there is no clear evidence that the virus passes easily from person to person. That line also didn’t last long. January 23 is the date that China imposed severe “lockdown” restrictions on Wuhan and surrounding Hubei province. By that date the number of cases of the novel virus in China had already begun to explode. Worldometer has been tracking cases by day and by country. Here are their data for China. By late January China was reporting several thousand new cases per day, and by mid-February that number went above 10,000 per day. The peak day was February 12, with over 14,000 new cases reported. On March 1, China crossed the threshold of 80,000 reported cases, and 2900 deaths, far more than any other country as of that date. But by then, the official government narrative had changed. Now it was no longer that the disease was not a threat, but rather it was that China, foremost among the world’s countries, was achieving a rapid and heroic victory against this new enemy. The number of new reported cases and new reported deaths then fell not in some reasonable downward curve, but rather precipitously to just above zero. Oh, and this coincided with China expelling major independent journalists, including from the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post, on March 18. Here are the officially-reported figures for new cases and deaths in the days after that (from Worldometer): March 19, new cases 39, deaths 13; March 20, new cases 41, deaths 7; March 21, new cases 46, deaths 6; March 22, new cases 39, deaths 9; March 23, new cases 78, deaths 7. And the pace continues at about those rates. The New York Times, apparently not offended at all at having its people expelled from China, has gladly accepted the assignment of being the official mouthpiece for Chinese propaganda about the heroic success. On March 18 there was a piece from a guy named Javier Hernandez. Excerpt: China on Thursday reported no new local infections for the first time since the coronavirus crisis began three months ago, reaching a milestone in its battle with the deadly outbreak that has upended daily life and economic activity around the world. . . . China has hailed its success as evidence of what can be achieved when a vast, top-down bureaucracy that brooks no dissent is mobilized in pursuit of a single target. And then there was this piece from Donald McNeil on March 26, completely accepting official Chinese government figures in making the comparison with the U.S.: In the United States, at least 81,321 people are known to have been infected with the coronavirus, including more than 1,000 deaths — more cases than China, Italy or any other country has seen, according to data gathered by The New York Times. The problem is that the numbers coming out of China are completely preposterous. Among those expressing skepticism, to their credit, have been Richard Bernstein at RealClearInvestigations on March 25, Matt Margolis at PJ Media on March 26, and Paul Mirengoff of Powerline on March 28. If you are wondering who might be right, check out this post at something called the Shanhaiist on March 27. Excerpt: One photo published by Caixin shows a truck loaded with 2,500 urns arriving at the Hankou Mortuary [in Wuhan]. The driver said that he had delivered the same amount to the mortuary the day before. And there are 8 other mortuaries in Wuhan, where the total number of deaths from the virus are supposedly around 2600. And there’s this from the RCI post: On the very days when the national health authority was announcing that there were no new local infections, social media accounts in China were circulating photographs of “urgent notices” put up in residential areas announcing new cases and warning people to stay home. EBC News, a Taiwan cable news network, broadcast two such photographs dated March 20, which is two days after China reported there were no new local Wuhan infections. The world needs real data from China in order to understand infection rates and mortality rates from this disease, and thereby to make decisions as to the degree of extreme steps to take to contain the threat. Clearly China’s official numbers are way too low. But are the real numbers double, ten times, or a hundred times? I suspect that Xi himself would like real numbers, but everybody in the reporting chain is scared to death that revealing the truth will get themselves fired or executed. This is how an authoritarian country comes out being a laughingstock." Own this one Nancy, it is yours, and de Blasio's and many other Democratic politicians and the media's disaster to own, not the President's. Pelosi calls for probe into Trump’s handling "Without any pushback from CNN, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested Sunday that every deceased coronavirus patient’s death is attributable to President Donald Trump. And in issuing this bold insinuation, she told lie after lie after lie. “The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly,” she said to CNN’s Jake Tapper during a discussion Sunday morning about mounting coronavirus deaths in the states. There was no “denial at the beginning.” While the president offered optimism, as he’s always wont to do, his administration has been taking actions in regard to the global coronavirus pandemic since January, when House Democrats like Pelosi were busy trying to impeach him over highly dubious allegations of wrongdoing." New York's politicians were just as incompetent as Pelosi commanding the people of New York to come to Chinatown as well. To the extent there is fault, it lies on the shoulders of the Democratic politicians who long after the Wuhan virus was known to be a killer, continued to tell the people to congregate and party. Now Pelosi wants to blame Trump? The media has only exacerbated the problems the Democrats created by lying about what Trump is doing. The Media's Top Lies and Spins About COVID-19 | RealClearPolitics The world as we know it has changed dramatically over the last few weeks in light of the coronavirus pandemic. Countries are on lockdown, there are shelter-in-place orders, nonessential businesses have been ordered to close, and people have been mandated to quarantine. Here at home, the coronavirus has been a testament to American resilience. People everywhere are working to flatten the curve together (by keeping their distance and staying inside) and to ensure those who are most vulnerable are taken care of. In such uncertain times, Americans can only hope that the media would follow suit and put aside partisan politics in the face of a global pandemic. Sadly, some journalists and fake news outlets can’t help themselves. The media distorts and misleads, takes statements out of context, treats assumptions as facts, and in general, seems to want to sow as much rancor and fear as possible. This is irresponsible journalism in a time when the nation needs just the opposite. President Trump is their favorite target, as these examples show.
