Earth to Jens, America always goes it alone on defense matters, there is no one in the EU, now that Britain is outta there, with any real defense wherewithal. Some Eastern European nations do well, Poland for example, but the big powerful, rich old Europe is threadbare, and America, and Americans know it. Don't try to shine us on, Jens.

Narcissism is a mental disease which weakens the perception of reality. Keep it up big talker, we on this side of the big pond don't much care for you know-it-all EU types. Don't forget you always have NATO, call us if the Russians begin parading down the Unter den Linden. I figure we should be able to respond within a year or two, just hold them off at the pass while we muster some troops. Or you could actually act to defend yourselves. But that is big boy talk.
