Sorry, no! If school were something other than indoctrination in the progressive cant, I would agree!
Ferris Bueller’s 15 days off
"On June 11, 1986, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was released, and the lovable rogue feigned illness to take a joy ride in a Ferrari, catch the Cubs at Wrigley Field, and enjoy one meal as the sausage king of Chicago.
It’s tough to fault a teenager for wanting to skip school and experience the real world on a single beautiful day. But when one day becomes 15 or more, it becomes a big problem. Even Ferris only skipped school nine times.
In the average high school class of 24 students, more than five of them were chronically absent from last school year, missing 15 days or more, according to the latest Department of Education."
If education were valuable this would not happen, but it is not. We need a reality check; our education system is not broken; it is not an educational system at all. 60% or more of all students enrolling for the first time this fall will be incapable of performing at the college level in multiple areas. We are not educating we are housing child prisoners while wasting their time indoctrinating them in the defunct cult of progressivism.
I do not agree with everything Sir Ken has to say, but he is an entertaining and forceful speaker, and he understands how broken our current system is and why we must change it completely.
