Rob Reiner: 'I don't think there's a line' when it comes to attacking Trump
The change is the death of the progressive movement and a turn from the socialist/collectivist mindset back towards more liberty and personal responsibility mindset. As I have said on many occasion, all political issues boil down to moving a slider between individual liberty and personal responsibility on one pole and state authoritarianism and feudalism on the other.
The progressives, socialist, and collectivists all want more state authoritarianism and feudalism. They want hierarchical control of the individual to be seated in the government bureaucracy.
The thing which people like Reiner fear the most is that the individual will be allowed free of government regulations to act as he will for his interests. While this is economically the best outcome for the individual, the state, the federal government and the world, the progressives cannot abide by the idea that the common man might be freed of the shackles of his betters to pursue life, liberty and his particular pursuit of happiness.
Reiner should be afraid of Trump; he is a man who says what he means and means what he says.
The new world order will move the slider from much too far towards feudalism back towards individual liberty, the one thing Reiner cannot abide.
