The deal maker is mending fences, and assuring the party that he will not be some rogue element, but a rational deal maker who seeks to move the nation forward to a much better place.

Expect the same shocked faces on the media when Trump begins to mend fences with the Democrats. 

Dear media wankers,

Not everyone is an idiotic progressive who after he wins an election proclaims, "I won!" Trump wants to make deals, and make the country work, er, great again, to coin a phrase. Expect him to act according to that goal.  

Obama's sole goal was to win the election. After he had no substantive goals, and instead simply followed Bush, and continued doing what Bush had done, stimulus. Obama had little or no role in the formation of Obamacare, and would have no significant agenda moving forward. In foreign policy he sought to only not do stupid shit. Whereupon he dithered, allowing stupid shit to happen, but not stupid shit directly attributable to his actions. 

Trump has real concrete goals, a real serious agenda, and he intends to perform. Stand ready to be surprised, wankers!

Oh, and to the extent you believe the Democrats in the House and Senate will stymie Trump, remember Trump is a man who makes things happen. The huge real estate deals he does require him to doggedly pursue things through planning, permitting, and other bureaucracy laden stages. He gets things done, and he will pursue them till they are.

The Democrats in the legislature are dawdlers. After Obama was elected, Democrats had a super majority and the Republicans could to stop legislation. Yet nothing of substance happened until just before the end of Obama's second year, when Obamacare was passed in the middle of the night because it was only then being finished.

Trump would have done this within the first 100 days, they waited to the end of two years. This is the difference between these two mindsets. Expect Trump to pursue his agenda quickly, and with force. Expect Democrats to dawdle, whinge, and pontificate.
