​Mattis: Sec Defense?

Legendary Marine General James Mattis may be tapped to be Trump's defense secretary

"Whoever is ultimately picked, the next head of the Pentagon will oversee roughly 3 million military and civilian personnel and face myriad challenges, from the ongoing fight against ISIS and China's moves in the South China Sea to the ongoing stress on the military imposed by sequestration.

A number of defense secretaries who served under President Barack Obama have criticized him for his supposed "micromanagement." Even Mattis himself was reportedly forced into early retirement by the Obama administration due to his hawkish views on Iran, according to Tom Ricks at Foreign Policy."

The idea that Obama was a micromanager tossing out good men in favor of his wackadoo positions always leaves me speechless. Obama should never have been in the Presidency, he was not a leader, incompetent, and incapable of selecting quality subordinates. 

That said, Mattis would be a good pick, a soldiers soldier, he would provide the troops with a Sec Def who would always be in their corner, and in the corner of the American people. 

Trump needs to clean Obamas's Quisling General that have congealed within the Pentagon, Mattis is a go to guy to get that ball rolling.
