Psilocybin May Be a Psychiatry Game Changer

This is the ONLY "illegal" drug worth considering. It alters mood in a positive way, and it actually expands the brains interconnectivity. I suspect to a great extent this could put an army of psycho-pratists out of work, and reduce the need for all of those nasty "mood" drugs. This would be a very good turn.

Calling a mushroom trip "profound" is a bit misleading. Most seem to go in one person, and come out another better person. It is a little like the Wizard of Oz when the film transitions from black and white, to color. The characters are the same, but oh, so different, vibrant, alive, and more interesting. Remember, this is not the perception of the user that I am talking about, but the perception of the observer who watches the change between the user before, and after. 

Oddly, this is one of the few things from my earlier, wilder life that I seldom discuss. I don't know why, except that it is not something one can discuss with the uninitiated. It's like explaining color to the blind. So, I usually leave it alone. 

I am glad to see that the research agrees with my experiences, and I hope that this provides a real and durable change for people with mood related issues. I also expect that it will prove to help humans move to a new more functional brain organization.

The left image below is your brain normally, the right is your brain supercharged a perceptive, analytical leviathian. But your government betters know you should not have access to this because . . . Well, that part gets a bit fuzzy, but I am sure given time they will come up with a slapdash reason for making this a contraband. 

The comedy around here is these things grow wild and in some areas thick.
