Martin Armstrong: The 2020 Presidential Election Will Be The Most Violent In American History
Every 80 years, like clockwork we have a civil war, this was only aborted by the existentiality of WWII. The Revolutionary War preceded the Civil War by just about exactly 80 years. WWII was preceded by the Civil War by exactly 80 years. We are now about 79 years post the beginning of WWII. Time for a Civil War!
The forces of authoritarianism have been building since the Boomer generation took control of the political sphere in the late 1960s. They came to power claiming a desire for peace, love, understanding, free speech, tolerance, and diversity; they fought for the opposite, authoritarianism, tyranny, and oppression. Progressivism is but a sister of tyrannical socialism which is nothing but the recreation of feudalism with its system of serf/aristocrat applied to the industrial economic model. The progressives believe they are the aristocrats which is why they are always telling others what they must do and enshrining their idiotic promulgations into laws and regulations.
I have tired of the dregs of society standing on Portlandia's street corners assaulting the productive while claiming special status to tell we, the productive how we should live our lives, what we should do, and how we should behave.
These incompetents have nothing which would lead me to listen to their plaintive wails. They are a sorry lot, weak of mind, devoid of experience, unwise, and unknowledgeable about history, economics, society, or culture. Listening to them is quite like listening to young children; it can be amusing to see how precociously foolish they are; otherwise, they are tiring.
It would seem that the Culture Wars during this historic 80-year epoch should have ended by 2008, but Obama stretched the destructive Culture Wars period for an additional eight years. Thanks, Bammy. We are now paying for his failure with a deep and abiding cultural conflict which will likely only be cured by an existential conflict/war whether that be civil war or foreign. Let's hope it is foreign. As we saw with our past civil wars, they are deeply damaging to We the People much more than foreign wars although those are incredibly damaging as well.
On the other hand, if we are going to do this let's get it over with and let's pray that once again the people of America put down the forces of oppression, tyranny, and authoritarianism.
