Edward Luce is clueless, but Hillary is in the fight of her life . . .

Luce is solid as a block of granite. He seems to realize she is disliked, "Mrs Clinton’s biggest hurdle is the depth of hatred for her across large parts of America. He undersells Hillary's failings like her interminable incompetence, her pathological lying about things important, and trivial, her plasticine smile, her felonious handling of National Secrets, her willingness to sell America to any foreign power with $250,000 in hand, and her hatred for all things middle America. I could go on but it is too depressing.


Perhaps the Brits simply like being ruled that much, but, Mr. Luce, in case you missed history on the day the American Revolution was taught, WE DON'T. Capisce? Probably not . . . granite!


Luce detests Trump, and spends some quality time chewing the scenery before arriving at this gem, "How, then, should Mrs Clinton respond? The first rule is do no harm." By harm would he mean like imploding the party, and tearing apart the Sanders/Clinton compact by allowing the DNC to write 20,000 idiotic emails outlining how and why they detest Democrat voters, Sanders, and how they intend to collude with the media to smear, and ultimately beat Sanders?! You mean like that?


Too late, Luce. Even a recent alien visitor from space could figure this stuff out. So, anything else?


"The second rule is to make an energetic case for governing." Yeah, that should do it. She can run on her record of . . .  Hold on I am trying to think of her record. Well, she has a vagina! Maybe she should just have a model maker build a cool reset button, and then when on the podium giving her Keynote speech she could push it! How cool would that be?!


Maddogswif just walked by, and is giving me the death stare. Apparently Hillary already tried the "reset" button chicanery. Who knew?!


But ironically the Clinton News Network has the story which torpedoes Hillary:


"When it comes to Russia, the Obama administration has been talking about “pressing the reset button.” It’s meant to symbolize a possible new start in U.S./Russian relations, which “crashed” after Russia invaded Georgia last August.


So when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton greeted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva Friday before sitting down to their working dinner, she was all smiles when she presented him a small green box with a ribbon.


Lavrov opened it and, inside, there was a red button with the Russian word “peregruzka” printed on it.


"I would like to present you with a little gift that represents what President Obama and Vice President Biden and I have been saying and that is: 'We want to reset our relationship, and so we will do it together.' ...


"We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?" she asked Lavrov, laughing.


“You got it wrong," said Lavrov, as both diplomats laughed.


“It should be “perezagruzka” [the Russian word for reset]," said Lavrov."This says ‘peregruzka,’ which means ‘overcharged.’” 


Overcharge! Holy Jesus is that perfect or what! I bet this calmed Russian nerves, America apparently does not even have one translator who knows the difference between the Russian word for "Reset" and "Overcharge." We have probably been deciphering Russian cables and wondering why they are always bitchy about being overcharged, not realizing they are plotting world domination, or something. 


This little fiasco is emblematic of Hillary's serial incompetence. It follows her like a stain. After that ominous start with Russia, Hillary spent the next many years creating, and implementing the Obama foreign policy, the policy which has left the world in a shocking state of instability, destruction, and war throughout Central Africa, North Africa, the Middle East, the Near East, and with the nations surrounding the South China Sea in massive turmoil, and on the brink of war. Russia, and China are fighting growing economic chaos. Even the Caribbean, and South America are in near total chaos. Fortunately there is no government in Antartica so it remains relatively calm, the rest of the world, not so much. Gee, thanks Hillary!


According to Mr. Luce, what America needs right now is a good old shot of Hillary, because apparently America is not yet in a state of near total economic annihilation?!


Thanks for the advice Eddy, but really, I think we can take it from here. Britain could use a man like you, why don't you give your pumpkin heads some timely advice about something?


But, no, he prattles on with more nonsense, "What is glaringly absent from her campaign is an economic message people can recall. It is a mystery Mrs Clinton does not stage a photo-op every week in front of crumbling infrastructure and vow to fix it when elected. People would remember that. Even better were she to stage an event next to Mr Trump’s gated apartment blocks. “Look: he can build a wall around his luxury condos,” she might say. “But he doesn’t give a damn about your bridges.'"


Luce, you ignorant slut . . . do you not realize that Clinton has been in public office as a Senator, and a senior Cabinet member for years, and has had ample time to act to repair the crumbling infrastructure, including decaying bridges? The problem is she did nothing. Trump will, with unfailing relish, point this out. As with so many things, Hillary has painted herself into a corner by acting incompetently, with zeal. 


Maybe politics is different in Britain, but here Hillary will have great difficulty executing on your advice. 


Sorry Luce, every once in a while Americans awaken and realize Mencken was right, then we take the political class to task, clean house, and set things right  . . .  for a while. Sigh. But hey, this does look like one of those times. Luce, you ignorant slut . . .
