IT'S OFFICIAL: Millennials are now America's largest living generation
. . . Boomers have spent the past 50 years finding ever more ways to engineer government transfers of money to Boomers, commonly at the expense of the Millennial and later generations. Payback is a bitch. Boomers today only pay about 75% of taxes due. This creates deficits, which must be paid back by Millennials. This has never happened before on this scale in American history, and more commonly only occurred during war. Half of Boomers have no money saved for retirement, and are expecting a public payout to help them. Medicare, and Social Security are windfalls to most Boomers, and pay even if the Boomer is wealthy. Obamacare is designed to charge the Millennials excessive premium in order to pay for the sick Boomers who cannot afford insurance. Boomers have relied upon, and used the national infrastructure built by their parents and grandparents, but have failed to maintain, and continue building new infrastructure; instead they built wasteful projects like negative ROI wind farms, solar farms, massively costly light rail, and other wasteful transit boondoggles. Cities, states, and the federal government have paid Boomers high salaries, and rich benefits, but seldom have funded the pensions, and medical funds sufficiently to actually keep them solvent. Millennials will be expected to maintain these funds, although they were never allowed to participate in these rich payout schemes. The retirement funds for the Millennials are much more restrained. Boomers have, in essence, spent the past 50 years engineering a massive social Ponzi, and generational theft scheme against the Millennials and younger generations. Once the Millennials discover this, the dam will burst, and a flood of anger will pour out. By that time the Boomers will be dying, and the Millennials will be the dominant political and economic force in America. Yes, Boomers, payback will be a bitch. Best to plan accordingly, and make sure you have enough money saved to support yourselves in retirement, or find a fondness for Alpo. Choose wisely.
