Everything wrong with academia in two pictures
Where have all the good women gone? Because this is not a good woman, this is an ugly troll of a woman. Men can imagine being married to such a harridan and, so, walk away from the entire institution for fear of marrying a masked harridan. Her motto, "Behave as I whimsically demand or I will give you the Evil Eye." Hahahahahahahahahaha. That's it, the Evil Eye? Heh. The collapsing culture will injure the harridan and her ilk most; sadly it will also hurt many good women. Progressivism is a dead end, time for a change.

The first is the most common in which the union negotiates for salary, and benefits increases along with work rules and restrictions. The second is where the union primarily negotiates for stock or other ownership in the business. The first benefits the union bosses the most because it never has an end, they will continue to find things to negotiate for eternally, or so they assumed. The second has a natural endpoint for the union since there is no reason for the workers to keep the union once they have a meaningful and significant seat at the table. Why would the employees continue to pay the union to negotiate with themselves? There are few problems with the second model, but since it will quickly result in the union's demise, no union boss is likely to embrace it. On the other hand, the first results in the death of the business since this eternal negotiating over wages and benefits and work rules quite quickly drive up the price of the products making them competitively priced. Unions die because the union bosses are more focused on the benefits available to the union bosses and not sufficiently focused on the benefits to the workers. This is, or should be, a violation of the union bosses fiduciary duty to his members. While I know little about the union bosses fiduciary duty to his members, to the extent it exists, I would suggest that union members consider suing these wealthy union bosses when their pensions fail, which will happen before too long. If they take a risk which has a greater societal impact, they should have to carry liability insurance against this risk or vaccinate against this risk. The liability should be unlimited and absolute. Failure to either insure or vaccinate should be met with significant punishment including mandatory prison and placement of the children with a guardian, who would then need to either vaccinate the child or face the same penalties. |
