Rubio Ranks Only Behind Reagan as a Conservative Communicator
. . . neither with valuable experience, both good talkers. Unfortunately for Rubio Republican voters don't seem to want a communicator this time. Perhaps they want someone with some executive experience, of which Rubio has exactly none. Not being a Republican makes it easy for me to point out that Rubio, and rube are pretty close, and the way Chuck Schemer played Rubio on immigration was pretty pathetic. He comes off as a bright eyed kid with no discernible executive experience, why would an independent like me what to vote for him? Let alone a Republican? I might not like Clinton, or Trump, but both have some experience running large organizations. I don't believe Clinton's experiences proved fruitful, so I cannot see voting for her as the executive experience candidate, but Trump, as least, does not fail out in this respect. "Rubio, like Reagan, has the potential to not just win the election, but also to win the argument. He has the rhetorical chops and eloquence to teach Americans why conservatives are not defined by the negative stereotypes. But even more than Reagan, Rubio has the personal story to match the rhetoric. As the son of a bartender and a maid—immigrants who came to this nation and have a son who is a U.S. Senator—Rubio is the embodiment of the American Dream. What is more, he has a youthful Kennedyesque quality that Reagan, by the time he entered politics, lacked. And this is why so many of us are actually astonished by the way things have played out. This is why it’s amazingly frustrating that instead of celebrating the promise of a new conservative Republican Party, Donald Trump has hijacked this primary election by pandering to the base and stoking fear and anger." I could not give a good God damn about winning elections, I am exhausted from 7 years of incompetence, fecklessness, and dithering, from a prancing, mincing, golf pro. I do not want a repeat with an attractive young candidate who can win elections, I want a candidate who can run the country, helm the free world, and bring to task the tyrants of the unfree. Does Rubio really appear to be that person? Trump, on the other hand, does, love him or hate him, he appears to be capable of surviving a negotiation with Putin, or the Mullahs. Rubio would more likely become their cabin boy. Could it be the large number of independents, and Democrats crossing the line to vote Trump are doing so, in part, for this reason. And how about the party hoi polloi's disgust with the party elite, Trump promises to eviscerate these parasites, and Rubio? Oh, he's in bed with them, taking their money, paling around, having a good ol' time. It seems odd you would attach to the Barak Obama of the Republican party, but then it isn't called the Stupid Party for nothing. No, this is not an endorsement of Trump, who is probably the antithesis of my view of a great President.
