The Arab Implosion Continues
. . . the Arabs will have to find some way to assimilate to this or be destroyed in the process. The mere fact that this way exists and is obvious to all is sufficiently corrosive to destroy non-conforming cultures. Expect this to continue, to grow, and to gain speed. "What we are seeing is not so much a clash between civilizations as a crisis of Arab civilization: the failure of the Arab world to master modernity—to find a way to be economically and politically successful under modern conditions without losing the core cultural and social values. This is comparable to what happened in China in the 19th century, when China failed to find a way to adapt Western methods and ideas to Chinese conditions—which led to decades of state failure, weakness, and immense suffering for the Chinese people." All we can do now is lay pressure to move them onto the path we know works -- republican governance, free markets, limited government power, and reformed religions.

Iran’s new parliament has more women than clerics
. .. . one cannot say the same for either in the House of Saud, the abject worst human rights violator in the Middle East. One of these is an enemy, one is not. Can you spot which is which? In Saudi women cannot leave the home alone, nor can they drive, just two among myriad other human, and women's rights abuses. In fact, there is no republican governance, not even fictional in Saudi. On the other hand, in Iran, women not only can hold office, they do in large numbers. The sharpest irony in all of this is that Bush sought to bring democracy to the Middle East, and although he did plant the seed, it has yet to bear fruit. While Obama, accidentally acted with Iran, and succeeded. The religious compact that constrains Saudi economic reform - FT.com
. . . created upon the linking of a binary. While evil corrupts, absolute evil corrupts absolutely. Little Arab Lord Fauntleroy wants to reform the dilettante's in Saudi by putting the them to actual work, and reforming, completely, the corrupt system, stem to stern. "All this rewrites the social contract whereby Saudis forgo political rights and offer fealty to the House of Saud in return for public sector jobs and cradle-to-grave welfare funded by oil. Coming even close to these goals implies radical social change, an upheaval in governance — all without much sign that the absolute monarchy intends its subjects to become fully participatory citizens. While no one can fault MbS for his boldness, his programme resembles a mobilisation of technocrats to bypass big political obstacles. The biggest of these is the cornerstone of the state: the historic compact between the House of Saud and the House of ibn Abdul Wahhab, the 18th century preacher behind the most extreme version of Sunni Muslim orthodoxy ever attempted as a form of governance. The ruling family has until now relied on the Wahhabi establishment — as reactionary and bigoted as ever — for its legitimacy, in exchange for clerical control over areas such as education and the judiciary, as well as the segregation of women." This will only work if the House of Saud follows what we know works here at the End of History: republican governance, free market economics, reformed religions, and a state which strictly limits its regulations, including regulations of life and business. This is really simply, good government, good religions, free markets, and liberty. Saudi has none of these. Good luck with this. If you want to be taken seriously cut loose the religion today. Until you do so, no one will believe you have a chance, and more than anything you need others to believe and support your plan. After that you will need to pair the liberalization of the economy with the liberalization of politics. Sorry, that means the House of Saud will have to give up power to the people through a plural republican mechanism of some kind. Choose the form of your destructor. Not choosing is a choice. A house fire was never more deserved. The House of Saud recently came out with an announcement that it would spend $1 trillion to create an economy in Saudi Arabia. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! They are losing what economy they have faster than they are creating a new "real" economy. Saudi Arabia Outlines Reform Plan for Oil-Addicted Economy Brilliant! The House of Saud tyrant of the land is magnanimously going to finally create an economy? How? These people used to know how to ride camels, and, er, um, well, follow Lawrence of Arabia. Other than that it is a bit difficult to pin down what they actually can do. But work would not make the list. This is a nation of dilettante ne'er do wells intent on eating more welfare, kvetching about the price of oil, and funding anti-West terror groups. Cut them loose. Tighten visa restrictions so few if any Saudi's can even visit the US. Cut them loose from US military arms supplies, and training. This is the enemy, not an ally. We learned the same lesson 70 years ago when our ally, the USSR, proved to be enemy number 1. Expect the House of Saud to thrash around and throw money at all manner of inane projects, funds, businesses, but in the end it will be wasted. Without oil there will be no House of Saud, and the price of oil just took a terminal swan dive. Also expect Iran to increase its pressure on the House of Saud. Good. We should support this, albeit covertly. This is one house fire which would be helped by using gasoline. . . . terrorist funding despots. Exactly why do we think of these human rights hating, fear mongering, terrorist funding, sociopaths as allies? Without oil they have no economy, and while they are now saying they will spend trillions to create an economy, no Saudi wants to actually work. It is time to roll out the big guns, open up federal lands to oil and gas development, and drive the House of Saud into retirement . . . or back to camel riding, whichever they can hold on to. . . . and the fact that the House is the enemy of America, not an ally. This seems to be unfathomable to Congress, the President, and most Americans, but it is true. We need a serious come to Jesus on this issue. We need to reduce to near zero visas for Saudis, and we need to actively begin to undermine the House of Saud. While we should stay out of the pending Islamic reformation, our policies should be designed to maximized the damage to the House of Saud, while maximizing the benefit to Iran. While this runs contrary to the accepted Cold War stance of the Neocons, the Republican party, and nearly everyone in our political establishment, until we do so, the security of Americans, and the stability of the world is at risk. Saud is the enemy, not Iran. Go read the entire piece, and please click on and read the supporting documentation. This issue is important, and just beginning. . . . and after they are done sexually enslaving, and killing, they leave having done little else to resolve the original condition. The US needs to leave the UN today, not tomorrow, not Friday, but today. Is my position clear enough? This article shows how the UN Peacekeeping force in Haiti brought a cholera epidemic which killed more than 5,000, and infected, three quarters of a million. It also shows how the UN covered up this fact, and how one of the worst health agencies in the world, the US's own CDC also has successfully covered up the story. I have previously discussed the UN peacekeepers rape, and sexual slavery/brothel encampments. The US first needs to clean house at the CDC. Anyone in the chain of command should go, immediately. Anyone who had information of this, and withheld it from the public should go, anyone in the Administration who did so, should go. But we are saddled with a President incapable of action, so nothing will happen, the world will continue to turn, and the failures will continue to mount. The US also needs to clearly and unequivocally point out each and every time the UN, its Peacekeeping forces, or other entities runs a rape, and sex for money camp, every time it fails to follow proper hygienic procedures, acts as a vector for disease, or simply fails to act according to its mandate. It needs to take action to prosecute these criminals, if others will not. If we need to change our laws to achieve this, then so be it. The US needs to finally realize that the UN is a failure, of which, the US can no longer be a part. We should part the sheets, and leave, post haste. The US needs to join with Great Britain, the other Anglospheric countries, the Scandinavian countries, and the Germanic language countries to form a new international entity. One with a positive mandate, one not run by the tyrants of the world, and one which can help drive the rest of the world to accept what we know here at the End of History. What we know is that there is a political/economic/social model which works to allow the most human fulfillment, prosperity, and wellbeing. That model is republican governance, free markets, reformed religions, highly limited government involvement in the economic, social, cultural, and business spheres, and the atomized nuclear family and the necessary reformed social institutions to make the ANF work optimally. The UN is an antagonist to all of these outcomes, it has become a playground for the tyrants, dictators, and evil in the world. Its commissions are first and foremost cover for evil, with its human rights commission commonly ignoring actual human rights violators. So, Israel is tagged a human rights violator while actual evil like the House of Saud is not. The US can no longer participate in this charade of evil, death, rape, sexual bondage, and terror. It is time to leave. And create anew. Saudis threaten to sell $750 billion US assets if Congress passes bill that would let 9/11 victims sue Saudi Arabia
Cut the House of Saud loose, and let them swing. They are the enemy within Islam, and the real sponsors of Islamic fundamentalism/terrorism. Let the victims of 9/1 sue the House of Saud directly, nay, build a superhighway to help the victims sue the House of Saud. Only Obama can screw this up, and with his track record, I suspect that there is a better than 50/50 chance he will. The House of Saud needs the security of US assets more than the US needs their money. We will be fine regardless of what Saud does. They, however, are in a world of hurt, fighting a losing battle with Iran, and faced with an economy nearly completely dependent upon oil, which is ready to plumb new lows. Now that we have the threat in hand, we should summarily cut off any further military assistance, and access to any further military hardware, including supplies for repairs, and any US training. On the State Department side we should highly limit and any further visas both in duration (no more than 2 weeks) and in number (a few hundred per year max). The House of Saud is a cancerous evil, and massive human rights violator, we need to deal with them seriously. The hegemon must address threats quickly, and forcefully.
