Starbucks? Chick-fil-A? In-N-Out? Really? Back in the day, 30+ years ago, it was nice dinner at a sitdown resturaunt, Rock concert, local theater, and the low budget option was dinner and a movie. Twins giggle on vibrating exercise machine as they're shaken up
Set washers to spin cycle. Pretty funny! Samnsung unveils a robot vacuum cleaner you can boss around I use a Neato Bot vacuum robot "Robbie". I just touch one button, and he toddles off to vacuum the house. I don't interfere with him while he is working. The wife, however, loves to turn Robbie off. I suspect she does it to show me she loves me, or something. Why would anyone want to boss a robotic vacuum around? It will vacuum the house completely, if unmolested. False positives in pattern recognition of the "tiger" result in fewer deaths than false negatives. Evolution quickly sorted this out, meaning we are hard wired to find, and accept false positives. Until these people step up to the atomized nuclear family, they will remain mired in the 7th century forever. Then add free markets, liberty, reformed religions, and republican governance, and they are only 5 centuries aways from modernity. They better get to work! Sadly, this young woman doesn't understand male/female relations, but that makes for a humorous backstory to this analysis video! Twofer! Apparently she believes that the shrew, bitter, hate filled, angry, violent, who lashes out at all around her, should be left in a state of shrewishness, to boil in her own unctious bile, for life. Or something. She simply does not look accurately at what the shrew is, and how her shrewishness has destroyed her life, and made her and everyone around her completely, and utterly unhappy. She needs an intervention. A serious intervention. But our analyist can only see that she and her fellow women are blameless, pure as the driven snow, blah, blah, blah. Sorry, the shrew wants to be tamed. That is the story here. She acts out because she wants a man who is up to her, a man who can control her, intervene in her behavior, settle her, control her when necessary, and ultimately be her equal. The shrew cannot abide the fops, and dandies, which ply the waters around her, who seek her sisters hand. Nor can she abide the trollops, and fools who would seek hers. Until Petruchio. Yes, his manner of addressing the situation is Ancien, because it is. It also needed to be funny, and so it is as well. But underneath, he simply is performing an intervention, of the type she deemed necessary. He, and only he, was sufficiently willing to intervene to the extreme she required to prove his understanding of her, and his love of her. It is only after seeing that he is willing to do what is necessary that she is as well. The ending relationship undoubtedely drives modern women crazy, but they need to understand it from the stand point of the historical context. And they need to understand that the shrew, now tamed, is satisfied, content, happy even. She has found a man equal to her cunning, her drive, her desires, her ruthlesness, and her intellect. And in the end, she proves it, by chosing to serve her husband. Modern women cannot understand this any longer because they find this servant role innimical to feminism, and so are perpetually unhappy. Oddly, men have never lost their willingness to act in this servant role towards the women they love, and so, once married, are happy. There is a life lesson in here somewhere, probably buried, as Reagan might joke, under all the pony shit. |
