Juncker Pleads With Austria's Hofer: "No Referendums"
The will of the people must be suppressed at all costs! Goose step up to the podium Juncker, tell them their opinions don't matter. But don't complain when they are tossing stout rope over a lamppost while you struggle beneath. It is always so in Europe, eventually. ESPN Loses Over a Half Million Subscribers - Breitbart
If only ESPN had taken the time to realize that men gravitate towards sports so they do not have to talk politics. We can disagree about sports all day long, and outside of the occasional loon, no one dies. But with politics, the authoritarians in the crowd always go bonkers and have to hurt or kill someone. Sports allow men to argue about nonsense, so they don't have to argue about substance. The consequences are too great. But add politics to sports, and it becomes Why Bother. Anyway Amazon is coming and will soon eat ESPN's lunch, dinner, breakfast, leaving ESPN only a dog's breakfast. Eat up pikers! 6 million Americans have stopped paying their car loans, and it's becoming a 'significant concern'
The Obama administration has promoted this in auto, and again in home lending. This is not the way to do either. Subprime lending, in the long run simply results in extensive financial problems for those taking the loans. To the extent these loans are taken out by people due to necessity, and the loans are not rate adjusted by the federal government massaging the lenders, this is appropriate. Lenders are sometimes willing to take greater risks for greater rewards, but he federal government commonly distorts these markets as it has here by creating a no lose scenario for the lender, through incentives. When this blows up, the federal government wants to point to the lenders, but the fault lies with the federal government. Trump needs to return the lending markets to the free markets as much as possible, tout de suite! OPEC Cuts Output, US Shale Rejoices I love it more when I find myself in the company of Walter Russell Mead, my favorite liberal, and an excellent analytical thinker. American Shale oil, and gas are leviathan, they have, and will continue to change the world energy landscape. As the House of Saud, and ilk cut, prices will rise, and American producers will capitalize while maintaining low energy prices. This will continue to happen over the next many years, and unless the world economy, especially the EU economy, pick up, the oil dictators will begin to run out of spare cash to continue bribing their peoples to be good, and well behaved. This problem will only worsen as China, Britain, and parts of Europe begin to leave the Green Titanic, and seek to exploit their tight oil supplies. As this happens, the total amount of recoverable oil will skyrocket, and prices will tumble even more. China cannot today exploit this oil, and it may not be able to do so in the near future, but with some American ingenuity, and assistance, they will be able to do so. This would help clean up the environment, especially the air, and water, and likely put a long term damper on world energy prices. What Stein is getting from recount
And in 4 years no one will remember. She is acting like one of those pathetic reality "stars" who once their 15 minutes of fame have ended, they continue to act up hoping to reignite the faux stardom. Say good night Jill. Air travelers see low wait times over Thanksgiving
. . . and he has put the fear of God in the TSA! Suddenly, they can make the long lines move quickly! Dude! Mr. President-elect if you are looking for something to cut, this is it, cut it all, every bit, then create a transportation security apparatus which works, not Security Theater like the TSA. TSA's 95% failure rate shows airport security is a charade Calling this Security Theater is too kind. White House downplays Trump Carrier announcement
"The White House on Wednesday scoffed at President-elect Donald Trump’s agreement to keep 1,000 manufacturing jobs in Indiana, saying it does not come close to President Obama’s “high standard” for creating similar jobs." Creating them elsewhere, presumably. This is not a goal I would focus on, but Obama should simply praise Trump and shut up. He cannot step over a chance to act like a petulant, whingy child. His last day cannot come too soon. I tired of him 10 years ago, when I first heard his petulant "books-on-tape" voice. I expect during the Trump Presidency we will be treated to the Pip squeaking like an unoiled axle, sigh! |
